These days, every meeting, class, or training session includes a mix of local and remote participants. You need to deliver flawless audio for the people in the room and those joining remotely, whether it’s a presentation, team conference, or university lecture.

The MXW neXt 2 wireless microphone system is the next step in audio for hybrid events. It’s really four components in one: a state-of-the-art wireless microphone system, a smart charging station, an advanced digital signal processor, and a fully-equipped audio interface.

MXW neXt provides superior wireless audio for in-room listeners and remote participants in classrooms, lecture halls, and training rooms. Your choice of bodypack, handheld, or boundary microphones run for between 17-28 hours and drop into charging slots at the end of the day so they’re always ready to use.

Onboard IntelliMix® DSP includes automatic mixing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, and EQ to eliminate annoying distractions and provide a pristine audio mix. One-button presets for presentation, conference, and direct modes configure the system so that local and remote attendees hear everything they need to hear. Analog, Dante, and USB-C interfaces make it simple to connect to a computer, sound system, and videoconferencing codec.

① Analog Audio Input

Balanced* audio input connects to an analog audio device. Set the analog input level to match the output level of the analog device.

② Chassis Ground Screw

Provides an external connection point to the chassis ground of the device.

③ Analog Audio Output

Balanced* audio output connects to a signal processor, amplifier, or recording system. OUT1 provides the full mix (all audio inputs), OUT2 provides mix-minus (far-end audio inputs only, minus local audio).

④ Locking USB-C Audio Connector

Connect to a laptop, videoconferencing unit, or control device.

⑤ Power Connector

Locking USB-C power connector. To ensure reliable operation of the product, use only with the included 5V 3A power supply, or a Shure-approved equivalent.

If any other power supply is used, a continuous, stabilized supply of minimum 5V 3A is required for reliable operation.

⑥ Ethernet Ports

Connect to Dante audio network, external control software.

⑦ Kensington Lock Connection Point

Provides a secure anchor for attaching an anti-theft security cable.

⑧ Reset Button
